The above DPM Recoil Reduction System works due to the multi spring intricate rod (three springs) effect like a brake on the slide, but only before stopped on the frame to the last 6 to 8 millimeters of the movement.

In some cases the DPM Recoil System offer almost double force in the slide full open position compared with the factory OEM spring , so the slide of the pistol touching the frame gently and offering  less recoil to the pistol.

Further the moving parts of the pistol are protected, offering longer life to the pistol.

Included with the system are 3 separate springs and 1 Spring Plug. These external springs are different in length (also in power) so the shooter can fine tune the pistol on the opening and locking positions (slide on the battery) according his/her personal standards. The longer spring (more coils) is stronger and has a heavier pound rating than the shorter springs.

Overall Advantages
• Faster follow up shots
• Improved firing speed
• Slide and Frame Protection
• Elimination of jams
• Significant recoil reduction
• Better double-tap concentration
• Better control and greater accuracy

System of Multiple Springs
Three or more springs of different sizes for specific compression, housed in a metal tube. The mission of the system is the control of the backward motion of the slide at the moment of the bullet's firing. The initial pressure, that the total of the system exhibits, is almost the same with the standards of the factorial springs. But at the final phase of the system's coiling the difference of pressure that is exerted on the slide is in the order of 80% - 100% more. Consequently, the slide never rams against the frame and jams are eliminated.

Materials
All metal elements: stainless steel W.-Nr./Grade 1.4301 (AISI 304) - made in a factory compliant to ISO9000.

All Springs are made of steel or high carbon steel with a cadmium (Cd) finish *.

*The cadmium finish (which adds considerable cost to the manufacturing process) makes the spring impervious to the elements (including salt water).
